Tite Kubo does it again, somehow managing to get me to fall in love with an entire cast within 2 hours. I loved the manga, so getting the instant gratification of the movie barely a month after the Manga ended was very satisfying. The movie sets itself apart in two major ways.
1. The voice cast is incredibly likeable and feels very fitting for each character. Particular Bangnyfe.
And 2. The animation is STELLAR. Seeing Kubo's art style like this is something we've never seen before. I want a remake of Bleach with this studio animating it. This movie gets me SO hyped for Thousand Year Blood War's animation next year.
In conclusion, loved the movie. Can't wait for the next installment whether it be a show, or another movie. Whatever happens with this season 2 of the Manga. All I know is I can't wait to see the extended adventures of Nina, Noel, and Balgo!
One of the two primary protagonists of BURN THE WITCH , Noel is a stoic and level-headed high school girl with a dry sense of humor working for Wing Bind as a Witch in the Pipers division, tasked with conserving and harvesting Dragons. BURN THE WITCH is the first work Tite Kubo has released since the last chapter of Bleach was published in Shonen Jump on August 22nd, 2016, and takes place in the same world as his previous work, set 12 years after the Quincy Blood War and 2 years after the events of chapter 686.

Burn the Witch
Historically 72% of all the deaths in London are related to dragons, fantastical beings invisible to the majority of the people.
While unknown to most, some people have been standing up to these dragons.
Only inhabitants of Reverse London who live in the hidden “reverse” side of London can see the dragons. Even then, only a selected few become qualified enough as witches or wizards to make direct contact with them.
The protagonists of the story are witch duo Noel Niihashi and Ninny Spangcole. They are protection agents for Wing Bind (WB), an organization for dragon conservation and management. Their mission is to protect and manage the dragons within London on behalf of the people.
